You’re invited to join us for Historic Downtown Columbia’s 14th Annual
Southern Fried Festival

Friday, September 24th 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Saturday, September 25th 10:00am - 9:00pm

All booths must be set-up by 5:00 pm Friday and remain set-up until 9:00 pm Saturday evening. Security will be provided overnight. Booth space will not be available until after 3:00pm Friday. This event will not end until 9:00 pm Saturday night. You will receive a specific set-up time between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to reduce traffic congestion.

This is an outdoor event and all booths will be on pavement. Tents are recommended. Any tent awnings MUST BE FREE STANDING, not damaging to the pavement, and must not extend beyond your booth area. DCBPA will NOT provide any tents, awnings, tables, or chairs. Tablecloths are required.

THIS EVENT WILL BE RAIN OR SHINE. NO REFUNDS GIVEN.

Due to city regulations, no silly string or products that produce foul odors, nor any devices that propel items may be sold. All vendors are required to keep the area around their booth clean during the festival.

  • Absolutely no grease or any other substance may be poured out on the street or into the storm drains.
  • Electricity - each vendor will be provided with a 20 amp single pole GFCI Breaker.
  • Each vendor must supply their own extension cords and tape to secure the cords safely. Booths may need up to 100 feet of cable to reach their outlet.
Booth sizes are approximately 10feet x 10feet. - This year the kids area is being moved, so we will have booth spaces available on West 7th Street. Booths on West 7th Street will be $50.00 each while the booths on Public Square will be $100.00 each.
  • Please include any special requirements on your application
  • Food vendors will be limited this year.
  • Return your application early. Cut off will be early.
  • Each vendor must supply at least two garbage containers.
  • All garbage must be in garbage cans or bagged before vendor leaves.
